Pacific Spine and Pain Society (PSPS) – 2026 Research Grants
The Pacific Spine and Pain Society (PSPS) Research Committee invites you to submit a research grant proposal for funding support in pain management or spine/surgical research.
PSPS is proud to support original research that advances clinical knowledge, innovation, and patient care. This research grant program reflects PSPS’s ongoing commitment to fostering high-quality, investigator-driven science within the pain and spine community.

Grant Overview

Two (2) research grants will be awarded:
- One Pain Management Research Grant
- One Spine/Surgical Research Grant
- Each selected proposal may receive up to $5,000 in funding
- Grant recipients will be invited to present their research at the PSPS Annual Conference 2027.
Who Should Apply
- Clinicians, fellows, residents, and researchers interested in advancing pain or spine care
- Individuals proposing original research
- Those seeking support to launch or advance a meaningful research project
Review & Selection Process
PSPS is committed to a transparent and merit-based review process.
- All proposals will be reviewed by the PSPS Research Committee
- Proposals are evaluated based on scientific merit, feasibility, and relevance
- Funding decisions are made independent of industry involvement or sponsorship
Grant awards are based solely on the strength of the proposed proposal.
